We won an award of Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers Kansai Branch(technical award)

We won an award of Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers Kansai Branch (technical award) on a “the development of dual-spindle rotating bending fatigue testing machine performed in giga-cycle regime under the extreme environment”.

The development of material with high strength and high reliability is essential to realize safety and sustainable society.
In a design development stage, it is necessary to acquire quantitative data about fatigue fracture in a giga-cycle regime which a specimen is fractured by lower stress than at a fatigue limit.
Also, it is important to acquire data of fatigue strength under the extreme
environment (such as corrosive, high temperature and low temperature) because material with high strength and high reliability can be used under various environments.

GIGA QUAD was evaluated for as follows two points.
①Four specimens can be tested at the same time so that you can make s-n curve efficiently.
②Fatigue test can be performed under various conditions in which material is actually used.
-Fatigue test under corrosive environment
-Fatigue test in high temperature (up to 600℃)
-Fatigue test in low temperature (-100℃)

Encouraged by this award, we would like to contribute to the development in the field of machine industry and materials development more and more.
